I regret that I'm still here
Coping with all the nothingness
I've endured for far too long
Without any good reason

Vacuity all around me
First signs of decomposition
Every road ends in death
So I'll take the easy shortcut

I gave up line by line
Lost all fear and faced the truth
No more hope for miracles
No more foolish excuses

I'm gazing into the abyss
And it soothes my mind
Silence and peace forever
Only a heartbeat away
